Jennifer L. Thompson
Jennifer L. Thompson was born and raised in Floyd County, Indiana. Jennifer
received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University
in Bloomington, Indiana in 1992. Thereafter, she received her Juris Doctorate
degree from the University of Dayton, School of Law in Dayton, Ohio in 1995.
Following law school, Jennifer worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office in Dayton, Ohio, until 1997.
From 1997 until 2005, Jennifer was a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) assigned to the Chicago Division. Her primary duties were investigating complex white collar crimes, including corporate accounting improprieties, financial institution fraud, securities and investment frauds, wire and mail frauds, civil rights violations and public corruption. However, Jennifer also participated in investigations dealing with domestic terrorism, foreign counterintelligence, and violent crimes.
Jennifer joined Bubalo, Hiestand & Rotman, PLC, in 2005 to handle medical malpractice and pharmaceutical products liability claims. She is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Kentucky. Jennifer is a member of the Ohio Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, American Bar Association, Louisville Bar Association, and Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys.
