Stacy Hullett Ivey
Stacy Hullett Ivey grew up on a farm outside Bowling Green, Kentucky. She attended Western Kentucky University, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi and the 1994 IHSA Reserve National Champion Equestrian Team.
She obtained her undergraduate degree with magna cum laude honors in 1997, majoring in Government and minoring in Animal Science with emphasis in Equine Studies. Following her undergraduate studies, Stacy trained American Quarter Horses for seven years, working for various horse farms across the eastern U.S.
While training horses, Stacy always told folks she would probably go to law school some day. In 2004, she did just that. Stacy obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2007, where she was actively involved with moot court. After graduating from law school, she joined the Frank Jenkins Law Office. She began her practice with Bubalo, Hiestand & Rotman in 2009, with a focus on personal injury litigation and workers compensation.
Stacy is an active member of the Kentucky Justice Association (KJA), serving on the Board of Directors and the Young Lawyers’ Board. She is the editor of the workers compensation section of The Advocate, KJA’s bimonthly magazine which features articles about new Kentucky cases, verdicts and settlements, practice tips, as well as many other timely issues. She is also a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Fayette County Bar Association, Louisville Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.
Stacy is married to John Ivey, and they are expecting their first child.
